A Shropshire family law expert has warned that divorce proceedings are being dramatically complicated by the recession – and the situation is not going to get better for possibly years to come.
Bryony Walker, a partner at Mortimers solicitors based in the firm’s Bridgnorth office, said that the recession is causing many diverse complications for people going through divorce proceedings. Mrs Walker added: “Financial situations are changing rapidly as more people are being made redundant, and property and equity values fall. “This is a very real problem which I can only see getting worse over the next 12 months at the very least.” |
