A Hereford firm of solicitors is celebrating after recruiting one of the county’s best-known family lawyers.

Ann Vowles, a familiar face on the Hereford law circuit, has moved practices to Mortimers Solicitors where she will bolster the firm’s family law department.

Mrs Vowles has spent several years at Shawcross Solicitors, where she was a partner for seven years, and is a member of the Law Society Family Panel.

She said: “I have spent many happy years at Shawcross but I just feel it’s a good time in my career to take on a new challenge.

“Mortimers, which is a dynamic and forward-thinking practice, provides the perfect environment for me to do that."
